What I can help with

  • reading and following assembly instructions
  • sorting and checking parts before assembly
  • assembling common flat-pack furniture
  • adjusting doors, drawers and hinges
  • levelling and stability checks
  • positioning the finished item in the room
  • taking over a partly completed assembly when all parts are available
  • simple tidying of parts and packaging after assembly

To make everyday use simpler

The aim is to leave you with stable, properly adjusted furniture that is ready to use without having to revisit the assembly.

  • Avoid getting stuck halfway through an assembly
  • Have doors and drawers that are properly adjusted
  • Keep the furniture stable and correctly positioned
  • Use the finished item straight away in the intended room

A TYPICAL EXAMPLE

From an opened box to a piece of furniture ready to use

Before assembly starts, I check the planned piece of furniture with you, where it needs to go and the main contents of the package. I take time to identify the instructions, hardware and parts so that a missing item or unsuitable space is not discovered too late.

The furniture is then assembled in the intended order, with enough room to work cleanly and keep the parts organised. I check the assembly as I go instead of waiting until the end to discover that an earlier step needs to be redone.

Once the main structure is complete, I make the necessary adjustments: alignment, doors, drawers, level or stability depending on the furniture. We check together that it works as expected before putting it in its final position.

I finish by grouping the remaining parts and packaging neatly, leaving you with furniture that can be used straight away and a room that does not feel like an assembly workshop.

My goal: stable furniture, properly assembled and ready to use

Leave you with a functional, well-adjusted piece of furniture without the stress of uncertain assembly.
